Why the hate ? He helped draft some good players the past 2 seasons and has a grasp on what the team needs. He is an AGM and Tim has control .

Every AGM helps draft some good players. It wasnt hard at all to select Ristolainen and Zadorov. Pysyk, Ennis, Myers and Armia were really Regiers choice then anything else.

I have actually heard Darcy say something to this effect (during a pregame interview with Schoppe & the Bullcrap)...

Basically said, that due to his all encompassing list of organizational duties (trades, contract negotiations, free agency, scouting), he was only fully versed in the first two rounds of the draft, and from there deferred to the team's "big board" as determined by the scouting staff.

Now perhaps all NHL organizations work in similar fashion, I'm really not sure.

13 draft was pretty good , all Devine . That draft was excellent for us , may be the key to the rebuilding

I tend to agree.

Not brushing past the character issues because they are important, trading for Kane isn't just a "win now" deal. He's still so young that he'd be around when everyone else started to "get it"
