Absolutely!!
Why would the Sabres want to help the freaking Bruins get tougher??
F that concept!
We will find another partner to dance with!

- Sabresfan88

was just a thought that found some legs...would love for foligno to flourish in a bottom-six role in buffalo...just wish he'd tap into that nasty a little more

That's more along the lines of what I was expecting

(Besides the nicest way possible, part, LOL)

I think BUF fans have a lot to look fwd too... Grerat prospect depth, some good first team players, good management now, good coaching staff (for young players)

agreed...there's a disconnect in the development aspect, but management is looking to bolster that area

Great! When Stafford was hired I thought it was to be the main guy. Could not think of a worse hire at such a critical time for Buffalo. But I'm sure in this somewhat lesser role that he can offer something good to the club.

I'm going to assume TM or Devine or whomever did the hirings was fully aware of the skillset and history Prender brought. It's possible they brought him in for a particular skill that's not exactly visible to us. Like you said, in a lesser role, he could be useful. Of course I doubt we'll ever know unless TM comes out and says something along the lines of "kevin prendergast insisted we drafted this guy in round 7 and now he's Pavel Datsyuk jr."

yup...he'd be a pretty good one too...may even go top-10
- Michael Pachla

IMO he'll get drafted at 10 by Anaheim. Compared to Getzlaf what better team to draft him.

not so sure the sabres can get into the top-10 this year...and i'm not so sure it's time to bail on a myers or hodgson or Pysyk right now to get there

Right direction for sure, I liked the GM hire, thought it was a great choice.

What I wonder about for BUF is the Goalie position, A lot of good specs, some young unproven guys but at this point its definately a crap shoot in the BUF net. Curious to see who wins out.

Neuvirth & Enroth to start the year i assume and wait for a trade to be able to bring a Hackett or Liewen up

IMO If they make a play for Evander Kane, Hodgson and Pysyk are part of what goes the other way.

Pens are sitting in the area and could use a player like Foligno

If Neuvirth can stay healthy, there's no reason he can't win 20-25 games next year. His health is an issue though.

Kempe might be there for you at 22.

IMO he's a much better option than Foligno is.

right on with all of this...buffalo had the luxury of a bonafide #1 goalie for a decade, now they need to find one...cal Peterson and linus ullmark are youngins with some strong upside...they're a few years away...pretty sure they'll keep the pipeline full with a goalie pick this year

Yea not sure what it would be but that could be the starter maybe we get a 2nd and give you a later round pick. I have no idea because I'm not real familiar with Rutherford.

That's a lot to go the other way. I would not like that at all. I don't think we can afford to deal any of the current roster forwards who can put the puck in the net. With that said if i had to choose one of the 2 it would be Pysyk.
