Exactly. He's from Buffalo and his father's one of the Sabres top players of all time and that's the only reason he's a fan favorite. Kaleta as well. But I'd keep Kaleta before Foligno.

I think that's why some fans in Edmonton are afraid to give up Eberle for different needs. The goals he scored in the WJC are infamous. Once you become a fan favorite, nobody wants them to be moved.

I feel like he should be moved as his value is the highest of our "tradeable" assets.

Don't think so. maybe as a call up like he was this year. Remains to be seen who Tim uses to fill out the roster.

Yeah I guess my judgment is unfair. I just think Delaurias is more the real deal of that style player. I hope both work out. LA is proving big bodies work!

You add a player like Jack Dougherty in the 2nd round and the Defense might be unstoppable

That's if they all reach their ceiling, which is highly unlikely.

We have had no playoffs with Miller in a LONG time .

IMO he's a guy who's got the potential to produce like Wayne Simmonds, but the effort and work effort of Thomas Vanek.

Foligno is a guy that on his own doesn't have a ton of value, but if included in a package could be a key piece to a deal

He's 22 who just played his first full season on the worst NHL team in years while playing for 3 different head coaches and 2 GM's, each with totally different coaching styles......and you expected what out of him? Not exactly the type of environment to teach NHL hockey to the youngins.

I think to make judgements on younger players in that type of atmsphere would be shortsighted.....I'd like to see what he does under a full season under Nolan/Murray before giving him away for nothing, which is essentially what your doing if you trade him for a few late picks or mediocre prospects.

If Myers, Zadorov, Ristolainen, Pysyk, McCabe all become 3-4 d-men. I think we would be able to get away with that.

IMO, at least one of the above will reach 1st pairing potential.

I never said give him away. I would be 100% against trading him for picks. IMO he's a guy that if hes moved, It's in a package for an Evander kane type player.
