He was very good for us one season, and I don't think he's bad really, but not the kind of guy to do it on his own. I think he would have been pretty awesome on your PP.

How'd the Ehrhoff stuff work out? Did you guys recoup the same round pick?

I believe we did. Yes. Even if we don't if Boyle doesn't sign it was worth the risk IMO. 5th rounder in a weak draft I'm not sweating so much.

I'm the type of fan who prefers to sit back and let the team build, see if things work out, no need for lots of moves/shake ups. An off season doesn't throw me into a panic.

I've never been a Regier hater, though I did dislike Ruff.

I think I came here not long after they fired Regier and mentioned he wouldn't be bad for you guys. Hedid well with budget constraints when he had them, and from what it appears, Wang forces those same constraints.

Agreed... The problem with Buffalo trading him is the recapture penalty if he retires before his contract is up.

Liked him too. Trade itself wasn't bad IMO. Not following it up with any additions to our blue line was criminal.
