Clearly happy the Kings won, but the Rangers should be happy. They had a great year. They're set up well going forward. snow should take notes. Lots to do before October. - Jethro09
Here's the million dollar question. When Dan Boyle says he's not going to sign with the isles what does Garth snow do to address the need for a pp quarterback. Whether anyone liked or hated AMAC, who takes over his 25 min a night?
Random question of the day: why does Garth snow keep trading for guys who aren't locked up? It's phucking embarrassing to have all these guys publically snub the isles. Why does this keep happening??? |

Because you can trade for a players rights for a mid level pick and not give up any real assets. If Boyle doesn't sign they'll flip his rights for a pick. Their is very little risk in these trades. As for dmen I expect them to be aggressively going after one via trade with the fifth pick and or free agency. Weather snow gets someone will now that is the question |

Yeah that's what snows recipe for vanek was, except he couldn't get that first rounder back.
My point was it makes an already crappy franchise look worse and adds to the perception of guys not wanting to play on the island when they continuously say publically no thanks. |

Forgive me if I'm a little skeptical about snow going out and completing a deal to address the need for defense. He tried last offseason and we all saw how that went. |

I don't think he did try to address the defence last year... thought they would be fine with Donovan and Vis.

What do you guys think of the Sabres willing to trade for potential buyout candidates from teams that can't buy out there players because the don't have any more buyouts or can't afford to buy out the players in exchange for 1st round picks? |

Skepticism has been beaten into us for years with this team. Being skeptical just shows you're not drinking the Kool-Aid. That said, it does look like Snow is being more aggressive this year. He's trying to step up his game. We'll have to wait and see how it turns out. |

What I think that will bother me the most is giving next years #1 pick while knowing this team ( Snow ) having issues to bring in quality players to fill the holes/gaps this team has... Halak is just an upgrade in G but the overall team needs improvement ( especially D ) |

If he says no... we either go with Donovan/Viz/deHaan on the PP
Try to trade for or sign someone else.
25 a night....Again someone already on the team or someone we add
Because he's trying to upgrade the team
Because the NVMC is a SHlthole to anyone that plays there & the Islanders have a rich and proud history of sucking.
