seriously. not a trend I'd like to see in dan's comment section. Let's keep the signings to actual fact rather than fvck around with people who haven't won a playoff series in over 20 years.

don't do this.

Come on, it's not like I said we traded for Seabrook. I was messing with that window-licking, troll.

not freaking out, just asking for it not to be done. I'd like to be able to read stuff here without having to keep flipping to tsn to see if it's legit. most of us have been really good with that, and you're not a poster I have an issue with. I just don't want to have to doubt these comments every time I read something.

Im not gonna mention this on the Rags board because I don’t want to troll or post something that will make any of them pissed off while their team is in the cup finals.
That being said, I was at the game last night. I work in midtown and a firm that we work with took me to the game. Sat about 10 rows off center ice in what I am sure were several thousand dollar seats. Out of the 8 of us, I was really the only true hockey fan. Myself being a die hard Isles fan was obviously rooting for the Kings.
Of the 8 of us who went to the game, I was the ONLY ONE who stayed for the entire game, and the only one who stayed past the second period intermission! Two of the guys even left after the first period. Seemed to me like about a quarter of the entire lower bowl was emptied out by the third period because all the f’n businessmen own the seats. The good thing was that there was a lot of Kings fans in my section so I moved over to a few of them so I can have someone to talk hockey with during the game.
This post was not to bash Rangers fans because they have a passionate fanbase. But its really sad to see that so many of the people who pay thousands of dollars for the seats in the lower bowl don’t even give a shat about the game. They check their fackin blackberries and talk business half the time while a STANLEY CUP FINAL game that was a sick game with potential cup hoisting when the game was over was happening right in front of their faces. It’s a disgrace.
Sorry, but I rate MSG as one of the worst places to watch a game because so many of the people there are not true fans at all. Whether it be the Knicks or Rangers.
Can not believe what I saw going on there during a SCF game. Unbelievable. Most overrated arena on earth. Id take a playoff atmosphere at the Coliseum any day, nothing beats it.
Rant over..

I think I'm just too goddamn bitter regarding this franchise. It's not a huge deal, I just hate reading stuff and finding out it's not correct. Kinda why I avoid the main blog from eklund.

you're correct today, I don't know why but I'm pissed at the team more than usual at the moment. Fully expecting Boyle's rights to be traded tomorrow. Why Snow would continually deal for a player's rights without at least asking to make a quick call to the agent to see if they're open to the possibility of signing with the team just seems like throwing darts in the dark.

I think by the time we got to the car the Isles had scored one, in the 30 minute drive home they'd tied it, gone ahead, had it tied again and by the time I got home I saw the empty net goal to make it a 7 goal period. The one game I go to every year and the first time I've ever left any game early. It was actually kind of funny at the time. I bet if I'd stayed they would have been shut out
