It's not about value. I don't think more than a handful of people believe there's any significant value coming back in a trade. The value is simply moving him.

Oh, no doubt. But the suggestions I've read in here contradict that. Some people feel like they're going to gain cap space and acquire assets at the same time.

Nash is a beast.

He definitely has a better chance of moving up the lineup w/ Ottawa, but flat out making the team might be harder w/ Stone, Pageau, Hoffman, etc in the mix.

Whereas w/ us, he might only have to be better at hockey than Zac Rinaldo or Rosehill to make it.

Holding him back? Doesn't he lead the postseason in shots? He's generating a ton of scoring chances and playing a solid two-way game.

Scoring slumps happen to everyone. Sucks for him that it has happened during the playoffs.

I'm not saying this is even remotely possible but I'd be really happy if Lecavalier fetched up Bobby Ryan. Then Ottawa can do as they wish to fill the Bobby Ryan hole.
