That was my thinking after i wrote it. Wouldn't mind putting a little more into a deal to get him if it was available.

Maybe Vinny and a 2nd this year and 2nd next for Pacioretty and 3rd rounder. I don't know. Just thought it adds a solid winger that could play with Schenn and Simmonds.

Im just happy to see the Dreger believes there is a chance he can be dealt. In order for it to happen both sides (VLC and the Flyers) need to want something to happen.

No hurt feelings, just a direction thing. Vinny, you work with us and we will try to accommodate you as best we can.

They already have Briere playing 4th-line minutes, though.

I think Ottawa, once they've traded Spezza, makes the most sense. Penny-pinching Melnyk would probably love to replace his star 1C w/ a salary-retained francophone.

It would be a huge mistake to put Alt in the lineup, pair him with Coburn, and overplay him against top lines.

I like Danny Briere as much as any Flyers fan, but I'm pretty good with moving on from Danny at this point.

He pushed it back, but didn't cover the puck. It was Stepan. He may have covered it later in that sequence. It was impossible to tell though.
