Perhaps I'm bitter, but F' the Kings...this "run" for them has to put them in the conversation for "luckiest" club in recent NHL history.

Aggravating...

Nahhhh - luck may get you out of the first round - but you need to be very good to get out of the fourth. The only luck in the finals was Boston being eliminated early. After that, the Western champion was going to win.

They were the best team in the tournament.

Certainly a horseshoe up their azz team, but no one will ask that when they etch their names on the Cup.

Hawks dug a hole and that was that. Had they played smarter in games 2-4, we could have picked up 1 win there and not be forced to win 3 straight.

I would watch the Hawks and Tampa, and it could raise some eyebrows

Oh so am I. If the Hawks win on home in game 7 v. LA...we get our third Cup. The Rangers, for all their grit, no way matched up with either Kings or Hawks. This series should have been a sweep, but Hank damn near got them to 6. At times it looked like a Kings practice. The Rangers were that badly dominated (despite the close scores).

I bet J. Toews was watching tonight plum pissed. That's why i am thankful he's the C.

Meh.

Call it sour grapes or whatever, but I refuse to acknowledge that as fact.

The mighty Kings...sleep walk thru the season, finish in 6th, wake up just in time pull victory out their backsides.
- ArlingtonRob

If that's what it takes to make a long run in the playoffs... Though it does make for some ugly hockey during the mid to end of the season.

Every year, we disparage the trade deadline deals - Carter and Gaborik - not bad.

Without Gaborik, I bet there is another team lifting the Cup tonight.

The Cup should've been in Chicago tonight. I'm definitely a little salty myself.

Luck will always be a factor in winning a Cup, good teams just take advantage of it. Top to bottom the Kings were more complete than the Hawks this season.

The Hawks have a great opportunity to shift the balance of power by acquiring a legit 2C. There's enough young talent to form a good bottom 6, the top 6 should be loaded.

With the amount they have been talking about the hawks in the interviews you would think they beat us in the finals. Not even talking about the rangers.

It will be ever sweeter when they win it again....Look on the bright side. Carcus has no idea what it feels like.

No, baseball.

Unlike the Cubs.

Who usually look like they're playing on ice.
