They made a thousand trades to get this team right. It sucks how they make all these trades to add offense to their group and basically kept most of their other Cup team and we HAD TO trade away all our great draft picks and secondary guys

Sorry, every team has to be lucky to win the Cup. The Kings deserved it and earned it. Don't give a crud about rounds 1 or 2. The Hawks had game 7 at home and could not close the deal. Kings did. Hawks fans that are pissed about the Kings winning, should be pissed as to why the Hawks didn't. It had nothing to do with luck!
I think the Hawks this year went a lot further than most of us thought they would. It was a really good season after a great season. Lets see what the Hawks do in the off season. This team may just come back next year and win #3.

My point was simply that the Kings weren't lucky, that I (think) they were the significantly better team, and this hogwash talk about "luck" was just that.. hogwash.

Nahhhh - luck may get you out of the first round - but you need to be very good to get out of the fourth. The only luck in the finals was Boston being eliminated early. After that, the Western champion was going to win.

They were the best team in the tournament.

I have to agree. They say you make your own luck. They play the game the right way (outside of all the penalties they should be called for ) but you get the puck on the net and then go to the front for rebounds or tips. They are in the right place at the right time

Real nice ending on CBC. They went thru every player and coach on the Kings who stated their favourite player growing up.

When it got to Darryl Sutter they showed his mentally disabled son and Darryl named the Golden Jet as his favourite player.

Not one Ranger player or coach was interviewed.

Yeah they talk us up a lot. It is hard to hate them. I gained a lot of respect for some of them during the series. Not doughty, though. He's a richard. But I am looking forward to a long and entertaining feud with them
