I think it became apparent on the decision to move Spezza that Hemsky was no longer a fit. I think for a few teams (St. Louis, Anahiem) they are in a position to look at Hemsky with Spezza. I'm guessing Ottawa does the deal this week and it is Spezza and the rights to Hemsky going out.

Hemsky had a good 20 game stretch,no way would i give him 5.5 mil per.Macarther deserves that kind of price range not hemsky

So i have Ryan at 8 years 6.5 mil and Mac at 5.2 for 5 more .Everybody good with those numbers??

I like the Ryan deal, he'll likely want a little more though. Even at his best, he doesn't meet Kessel level contract, unless he has a crazy turn around. He started out pretty strong last season.

Mac, a little too high. 4.5 seems right, if he can re-do what was done last season.

Is that in line with Kane getting $5.25m for the next 4 years?

Yep ,that would be ideal ,but i would go to 5.2 to keep him .I like him and Turris together,and KT would probably like this as well .As for Bobby Ryan ,I said 6.5 ,only because EK makes that .Our two best should make the same imho

Kane,s got a good deal ,most 50 to 60 point players are in that range .Mac is there so i cant see his agent asking for less.Grabo got 5.2 mil

As per Bobby Mac ,Markov wants 3 years and 18 mil ,Call me crazy but i would think about it .I dont think it will ever happen though ,but i could see a team willing to give him that
