Did you watch him at all this year? People may not agree that he's a #1 or a star but anyone who watched him more than 10 times this year can probably tell you that he had a pretty good year considering the team he was on.

Hopefully Reinhart is eventually Number 2 centre , Girgensons a strong 3 that can fill in at 3 . And 2015 draft gets us a #1 centre

One of them + Ehrhoff could be a pretty nice package for a guy like O'Reilly, E.Kane, etc

Ya i did and liked what he showed offensively, but not much at all at the other end.

Anyway, i'd trade him for a legit top 6 F something we lack bigtime atm. We have a plethora of young talented dmen.

Only people talking about O'Reilly are those that have no grasp with reality . Did you watch Myer's development this season once Nolan took over ? Yes he is on the cusp of stardom . That is not my feeling , it is the feeling of other organizations. He was a victim of bad coaching and management . All Murray said was too much was expected of him so early in his career , and you try to spin it that Murray said he will never be a franchise defenseman. He was our best player on the ice a majority of nights after Miller got traded . He single handedly took over games . Sorry you did not see that.

Ya the wild card in this rebuild imo is Grigorenko. If he develops into legit #1 or #2 C man we're in great shape.

What's there to see, they filed or arbitration that doesn't automatically mean he's being traded.

Probably signs a long term deal some time between now and the day of his arbitration hearing.

I see Garth has posted a ROR blog, when are folks going to realize the Avs won't let him go.

Nah, ROR is staying w/ the Avs. They wouldn't of filed for team arbitration if they are contemplating trading him at all.

My thoughts are that they filed for arbitration bc the didn't want to qualify him at 6.5mil
It's just what they had to do to retain his rights
I'm sure they'd like to keep him
But they prob wanna keep Stastny too
And upgrade their defense
Can they afford to do all that?

If they can't agree with ROR on a deal, he could fetch them a return that fills holes & makes the team stronger

Ya i agree that was a pretty poor take, but overall he's very knowledgeable and a good listen/read.

I like myers a lot, just wouldnt mind him being dealt for a quality top 6 F. Hell or even work a deal with Edm for #3 overall.

They prob both play 2 more years in college, and then prob a year or two in roch...
And Fasching is a winger
Compher is currently a center, but I've read that he could project to be a winger at the NHL level
We do also have Larsson that can play both center & wing
After being so thin down the middle since Briere & Drury left, we really have some fantastic depth at the position now
