All I know is, the combination of hockey season being officially over, combined with the exorbitant amount of soccer being shoved down my throat, this is going to be one miserable sports month. - buffalofan19

I once got called a homphobe for making fun of soccer. Guess that confirms what we already knew. |

Bob McKenzie: DAL puts Aaron Rome on unconditional ($125) waivers for purposes of enacting a buyout. Only player on waivers today.

While I understand the sarcasm, if Murray is serious about "we'll take the salary of and use a compliance buyout for your garbage in exchange for a first rounder" approach, my guess is that we won't see Leino bought out until near the end of the period. |

Yeah, I know.
I'd be fine seeing what he could get in trades. If he can get a 1 or 2 year contract back, keep that person and then you easily cut out Leino.
I just don't want to see them take on players from trades and use the 2 buyouts on them while Leino remains... |

Any interest in throwing Fiddler on the fourth line for 1.5 - TheSabresTaco
Yes.
But only if we can get Cal Clutterbuck and keep Colton Gillies, so we can have the moonshine line |

I think he uses a regular buyout on Leino so it counts against the cap & helps get us closer to the floor |
