I think the only guarantee might be that 1 of Myers/Ehrhoff is here. I still think 1 is traded, and who knows who is up or down (Risti, Pysyk, Ruh, Zadorov) or if anyone (including us) even wants Mike Weber - CaptPantalones
That's what I said.. Guarenteed on roster unless traded or bought out...
I think Weber should be bought out along with Leino personally but with their lack of D next year I doubt they do that

Really?? He's not the second coming of Crosby.. He's a good to decent player but you need someone like a Backstrom for the 2nd overall pick.. I don't care how weak the supposed draft is... - bluengold12
Well I am biased because he's one of my favourites. if Reinhart goes 1st I would do it if the deal was offered to me.
Edit: I'm talking about this guy by the way

I'm not up on the young kids not in the NHL yet so who is it? and there is nothing set in stone we pick in the top 3 next year. - SABRES 89
In order: Connor McDavid, Jack Eichel and Noah Hannifin, 3 of the likely top 4 next yr.
And while your right, I think Murray will almost guarantee this roster bad enough for a top 3. "You can make moves to direct the way you want the end result to be" (paraphrasing him at the deadline) |

McDavid, Eichel, Hanifin.
If you sign nothing but old "scrubs" to short term high cap hit deals and trade away Stewart and Ehrhoff, you might as well pre order one of those jerseys to beat the rush. - Sabresfan-365
What you want and what the Sabres do are two totally different things, because GM's always tell the truth in front of the media you know. |

Why in the hell would you want those 3 scrubs? Booth misses more games then are in a season, Tooto does what again that will help this team?
I've said it 3 times or more Moulson is close to coming back, I was told no and Vanek and no on Miller so everyone can rest easy. I noticed yesterday someone posted something about Vanek coming back that's why I mentioned it.
The Stars have an interest in Ehrhoff I was told they, like a lot of teams want a D man that can play 20-25 minutes a game. - SABRES 89
Moulson is the player I want back here . He values the leadership and mentoring role he will have here and really likes Nolan . So he is not some vet that will be undermining the coach. |

I'm so confused now are we talking about marcus johansson or ryan johansen?
if we had the opportunity to get johansen for the 2nd overall pick you do it ..
Murray should get the X if he says no |

And you think the Sabres don't want those three guys? Even with Moulson coming back, the right moves will get this team in the position to draft a real stud. |

I was told he wants to come back, the Flyers and Yotes have interest as well but he feels " comfortable " in Buffalo. |

Do you know much about the London Knights .? Probably one of the top organizations in Junior hockey. If he were to be anywhere my first choice would be London . Discussion of the transfer rule has been beaten to death in here . It is not changing in the near future . Need to get over it and be glad that he is at least in London . And he will be benefit from being there . The Hunters will see to that. - Maximum Signal
So you'd rather have him play against a bunch of boys then against men.. I don't care how world class London is you can color it up as much as you want AHL is still better competition than the Juniors... Sure maybe its a little better then Grig's playing in the Quebec league last year which equated to him playing against guys with arms behind their backs but I can have an opinion on the subject and I do its a BS rule and I don't like it |

I'm talking about Marcus Johansson of the Washington Capitals.. He is a good young player but not a guarantee of a 1st liner and frankly not worth a top 2 pick in the NHL draft those players should be automatic 1st liners. You only do that trade if your getting a guy whose all ready in 1st line mode |

It actually did hurt him.. That's my whole point.. He wasted a year of his development playing in Juniors last year. He should have been playing in Rochester all last year now he's a year behind. |

There is no debate ! He is not ready for the NHL and cannot go to the AHL . Best team for him to be with is London . We have called BS on the rule ever since Grigorenko was drafted . It is here for now deal with it ! Pounding your chest and stomping your feet is not going to change it . The CHL is not keen about giving it up as they are afraid it will deplete their product too much . Can't blame them . They are business owners , can't force them to do it if they do not want to.

I can complain about it all I want! Freedom of speech! If Gary Bettman wasn't such an idiotic moron he'd outmuscle the measly CHL and convince them to compromise but he's an idiot so obviously players like Drouin or Grigorenko suffer because of it. |
