Got on a boat at 10:30am. I remembered the first few hours then I was back at my house at 5pm showering when I came to.

I caught my second wind at 8 and we went to The WonderBar to get drinks and dinner. I remembered the rest of the night. Nothing too crazy happened, but it was an awesome night.

Agreed. I would steer clear of Morris, unless he would sign a 1 yr deal. Nikitin is intriguing because he has shown flashes of offensive ability in his career, maybe there could be more bang for the buck. Hainsey is my first choice because of his experience, ability to play in all situations, and more importantly cost. He'll probably get a multi-year deal, but he would fit in nicely with the young kids in a role similar to what I believe Kimmo will play this year.

I want short term roles for any secondary D UFA signing, unless it's Stralman or Nikitin. I don't want to see a guy signed to fill in until Morin, Gostisbehere & Hagg are ready still here 4 years later, unless he earns a longer term commitment on the ice as a Flyer.

You know Gilbert is going to want a bit longer contract this season, but if he gets a pay raise and performs well again on a 1 year deal, his price tag could go up again next off-season. Guess we'll see what happens.

I like Gmann, but won't be surprised at all if he's moved. And what he brings is easy to replace.

I also remember when they went out to California, among other places, for a gauntlet of games and came out with every possible point except like 3

I also remember them playing the Hawks, Kings, and Ducks and beating them all in 3 games in 4 nights (I think)

The defense is not as bad as everyone thinks. Just simply not as bad. It's not the Kings or the Hawks out there, but this d corps can get the job done.

They would of saved me 500$ if they missed the playoffs.

Couts had 7 fewer goals, but only 2 fewer points, while playing in a far more difficult role, getting less PP time and facing far tougher competition.

I wonder if Hextall is looking at the end of the season Grossmann (Nik and Streit were actually a pretty steady pair in the Spring) or looking at the bad stretch he had in the Winter (when that pair was really bad), when thinking about next year and the D.

The D as is absolutely has big holes. But they can compete. I am sure Hextall would love to upgrade where he can.

Coach didn't trust Schenn to play more than 15-16 minutes, Kimmo will be in a reduced role, not the same one.
Doing this beats the crap again out of Coburn & AMac, and then everyone will female dog they stink, etc, because there's not enough depth.
