Were talking in the past tense but sure I would have invited you for that if I'd known you 10 years ago. The worst cartoon of all time!!!! But it was funny to watch it. 10 minutes of show & 20 min's of singing.

Speaking of snow.....screw Martin and his books. If he can't write them fast enough, or he's lost in his own plot somehow (he's hit that George Lucas age of stupidity), maybe its time we get a young hot shot to finish this series right.

If you're reading them and not just watching on TV, I can suggest 2 authors who write just as gritty (if not more so), similar stuff...
Joe Abercrombie makes most of Martin's characters look like a bunch of schoolgirls, and his own characters are the type you hate but can't stop reading about. Start with "The Blade Itself".
Bernard Cornwell (The guy who did the Sharp books), has a series about the forming of England and the Danish invasions. Again, awesome characters, and nobody writes a better battle scene. One of his more recent books has a quote from another author: "Like George R Martin, but real". Start with "The Last Kingdom".
Cornwell also has a series about the 100 years war, and a version of the Arthurian legends that is nothing like the usual chivalrous drivel.
