Medicine is truly coming a long way. My80 yr old Mother just recently had over 1/2 of her eye replaced in a surgery. She had what would be similar to a Cornea transplant. Just amazing. She could see through it after only 12 hours. She was on a wait list for over a year, waiting for the right donor.
