Hollands a dark horse, he was killer for the Marlies in the playoffs, I think hes better suited for the 2nd line C, I reallly liked his game after he came back from injury, guys got laser of a wrist shot, hope he gets a permanent spot in the line up, even if its 4th line kid will work his way up

I would give Bolland 1 yr. At 3 mill, he has to prove he can be that guy again, if he ever was.

Rather trade Kadri and let Holland take his spot, I think Holland will be a better rounded player and Kadri will net a better return , not a big fan of Kadri

Leafs need to wake up and get 3 scoring lines and a checking line. 4th line should be the shutdown line that plays 10-12 mins a game.

I don't see a place for both Holland and Kadri on this team, unless they are on the same line and one's on wing (which isn't a terrible idea either).

I know, I was just saying Holland deserves a shot, no matter where they plug him in, hes gonna move up, thats all, and ya I agree about the 4th line, atleast have em out there for more than 2 shifts a game lol

GMs may be leary to give him long term money with his injury history

he will end up going to whomever is willing to take the gamble.. thats my bet.

it really does suck that he was hurt, because he started out to be exactly what we hoped he'd be.

and can't judge him on his return cause he wasn't 100%, clearly.

I really like his style of game and he's effective, even when not putting points, but just can't pay that guy $5M, especially when you know he is slotted for 3C.

1st line is like that, 2nd should be opposite. 3rd should be all a bit of both.

gotta have at least 1 physically strong C who can play top 2 though - which is why I think RoR is really a great fit for this team.

Trade Phaneuf for him and give him the C.

Wanna bulid the team right? Stay away from trading for old guys who will cost you good assets & fuk up your salary cap. It may make the Leafs temporarily successfull for a few seasos but it won't bring a cup to TO.

so you've got a shut down line that's gonna play 10 mins/game? chances are the line they'll be tasked with shutting down will be playing about 20 minutes. a shut down line needs to play big minutes.
