I'd say Kane and eberle are pretty much even. Kane is worth more the Perron.

3rd and gagner

Hanzal and yandle

I cant tell if pho would think this is a bad deal.

Offset the 3rd- yandle slight disparity with the gags/ hanzal disparity

None. Why is Kane's value better than these other guys? He's proven less and has shown he has an attitude problem.

It would be Kane + for Yak

Kane + for Eberle

Kane for Perron

Why are we over paying for a problem player that has not proven anything?

- Iggysbff

I would disagree on Kane/Yak - Kane is bigger and faster. Also Kane has a 30 goal season, lockout year was on pace for 30 and last year was a bit of a down year but had injuries which is also a concern.

you could definitely argue Kane + for Eberle so I won't dispute that

You could also argue Kane for Perron straight up. I added a plus due to draft pedigree which in turn equates to potential upside (so that translates to more value).

Seguin was deemed a problem player too, was he not? Would you have traded for him?

I'd take it. I would try and change it to 2015 1st and 2015 2nd with Gagner for those two just so we can draft a centre this summer.

So why doesnt draft pedigree apply to Yak who led rookie goal scoring and the Oilers in goalscoring in his rookie year? Kane has many warts. I wouldnt give yak straight across for him.

Well I would rather have Perron than Kane. A guy that poses with puppies from the SPCA rather than wads of cash during a work stoppage to me speaks of character. If anything, less problems.

Fair, but wed have our 2c in hanzal.

I think what they know in this years pick (plus what they have in tje 12th) would be alot more valuable to them

Eriksson is a damn good player. Great two way guy Fits beautifully with them imo. They won the pres trophy.

Reilly smith shows some promise too. Plus joe morrow is a very talented dman. Great prospect

I think boston saw losing a deal in potential could still make their team better

Camp toilets are impossible to plug. I eat like there's no tomorrow and my turds are the size of Volkswagons yet nothing remains after I flush. It's pretty impressive.

Loui had mashed potato brain for most of the season though, however Reilly Smith and Matt Fraser are nice players out of that trade.

I was going with perceived low value on Yakupov which in my opinion is lower than Kane's just by media perception and proven track record. I'd honestly prefer to keep Yakupov over Eberle/Perron.
