Honestly Kessel worked out Ok for the leafs. Dougie will be the deciding factor i think, but the trade seems a little more evened out than a couple years ago.

If the Oil can get a bonifide top pair Dman for the 2015 first, that should help more than another kid, unless it's Mcdavid. But if the Oilers with a top Dman finish last or bottom 5 again maybe they deserve not to have that pick. I am tired of prospects and drafts and the "next big thing" It is time to compete.

Burke big mistake was he misinterpreted how bad the leafs really were.

Yes they gave up a lot but he is one of the best snipers in the game his big knock is that is all he really does his defensive game is oviesque but he is a very underrated passer if you get to see many of his games he's a hell of playmaker as well, nice crisp accurate passes that just seem to get through. My dog plays better d then he does.
