I would be happy with any combination of Pouliot, Leino, or Booth as a replacement for Downie as long as the price were right, i.e. Low. I'm not sure any of that is happening.

I think too much is made of 'top 6'. I don't mind Read playing with Couts because I feel Couts is going to get better offensively.

If the Flyers can improve their group of forwards, Read and Couts should see more favorable match ups and zone starts.

It's more the desire of many fans to get that scoring line LW, despite the needs on defense. I'd love to see Evander Kane as a Flyer. But I'd like to see a good, top pair defenseman more.

I'm not really considering Fiddler, he wants a raise and Dallas was happy to let him walk. Boyle, too, might not be a fit s part of the reason he might leave NY is because he wants a bigger role.
