Funny....the Ek Blog states that the asking price for Campbell is high. But he's a 35 year old (where does the time go?) defenceman making over 7 million....I would think Florida would be begging teams to take him off their hands. He's good, but he can't have much left in the tank, so there's only so many legit contenders he can go to and even fewer of them have the cap space. I'd be fine with taking his salary on as a favor if it got us something else, but we certainly don't NEED him. And I'm all for Moulson coming back. Give him a full-on 7 year contract....

That team is in a huge hole. I can't see them being a contender anytime in the near future. The few upsides are demolished by some huge mistakes. That vanek trade was crippiling. They forfeit their 1st and 2nd next year to us. Players seem to avoid that place like the plague. Ofcourse they do the same here but buffalo fans are not oblivious to this fact. We know that we have to build our team through many high draft picks and prospects over a few consecutive seasons. Just soo weird trying to talk to them about it.
