Does anyone see Ekbald falling to us at 2 ? I could see Florida possibly taking a center.If this happens would TM take him and try and trade back up for say Drasental ?

Florida picking Reinhart is definitely a possibility.

My current thinking is this teams a long way from competeing with teams like Boston if Ekbalds falls love to have him.Not impressed with Reinhart or Bennett at number 2.I like Leon Draisaitl if the Sabres have him projected to play Center at the NHL level.

While possible, IMO not probable.

That's the thing about wingers that "can also play center". I'm sick of that experiment. I realize this is a different regime with different evaluation abilities, but just get me a center who has been playing center, and will continue to play center in this league. That sounds like Reinhart.

Toronto would probably be smart to trade Kadri now, while his value is at its highest, whether it includes #1 overall or another impact player, I think seasons like the one he just had won't be the norm, and will be fewer and farther between than the Leafs (and their fans) would like.

Can't see Colorado making a deal like that with Chicago.

Letang's injury history should be cause for concern as IMO ROR is the better player based on at least you know he'll be there to play game in and game out.

Letang has Connolly syndrome.

It's a good possibility that they could turn out that way. Yakupov is on his way to proving you right. And not because he doesn't have the talent, he doesn't have the mindset to play in the NHL. He's an entitled brat that doesn't want to listen to his coaches.
