I would like to keep Conacher for a couple more seasons. He's a Murray man, coming from Ottawa. Just my thoughts, he could turn into a solid winger on a good team again. Give him a two year "tryout" period while we are rebuilding.

i see some, possibly the majority of the posters would like to see conacher walk. i personally would like to keep the kid here. He brings speed and intensity (like the gerbe we bought out) and even if he doesnt score 20-30 goals the guy is a good playmaker and he is cheap

For what it's worth, 550 is currently talking up the Sabres selecting Draisaitl at #2. They have audio of TM saying some nice things about him. Big bodied center with offensive skills. If Ekblad goes #1, is this a smoke screen to get the Oilers to trade spots knowing they like Draisaitl?
