I agree with all of this!

I think the idea behind Amac's contract is by the time were in years 3-6 of it, the 5 million dollar cap hit won't seem so bad when looking at his contributions. This is of course assuming the cap continues to rise the way it has.

Namely Hartnell, LeCavalier, Grossmann. Don't see it happening but would have no issues with the unloading of Streit/Amac.

I think it will need to be carefully stated as to what can and cannot be a coach's decision... How far does it go? Any penalty call? And who gets the final call? Toronto? The refs with video review? Some things are pretty dang grey.

It depends on whats in play to be challenged because they already have automatic review for questionable goal/no goal calls. Penalties are all judgement calls for the most part so I dont see how that would work.
