They were so bad together for a long stretch. They looked a lot better by the end of the season. I still think the lack of mobility hurts them. I've always preferred Streit with Amac.

I would like to keep Coburn past 2 years.

There seems to be an assumption that they won't be able to afford to re sign him when his contract is next up and they have to trade him now to cash in in his value.
Don't really get this myself.
If they want him going forward Hextall and Coburn will work out a fair deal.

I think Streit looked good from mid-November onward. He just started slow, that's all.

Yeah. I think most people understand the situation with Coburn. There are a select few who believe he's nothing more than a #4 and easily replaceable.

Most of us recognize his importance to this current team. He's signed to a very team friendly deal as well. Our top pairing is our least expensive pairing.

I think they're about equal. No idea where this idea that AMac is some defensive stalwart came from... he is brutal in a shutdown role, just ask the Rangers' forwards.
