If the crux of the argument revolves around price then I feel it's of the upmost importance. |

That's the thing. I think if given a good, long shot at LW, and left their, with consistent linemates, who fit his strengths, Schenn could be a good winger. - Jsaquella
True dat boo. I know we need two wingers though. At least one if not two d-men. We have a strong core that I really like. I think Hexy is going to make some good decisions. But when you have no where to go but up, like Homer did in the beginning, your moves all look good. I want him to make the tough decision to not bring in really any big name. Let the kids play. We all have some guys we wold love to see on this team(Nash ), but I know a guy like Moulson is a better fit then a Nash or a Gaborik. Cap and years wise. |

I didn't love him on the wing, but maybe with another center...a playmaker with some speed...we'd need to bring that guy in, though - AllInForFlyers
Try him with Couturier and Read. That could be interesting. |

They do need pieces, andOutside of trying to land a number one defenseman, I'm perfectly fine with minor moves like adding Bellemare. I want low cost, low risk unless you're filling a big, pressing need. |

And here comes another loop in another circle of the same argument. It's like you're only half hearing what I'm saying. If the price isn't right, Ott doesn't come to Philly. |

That's really what it comes down to with Ott. He's one of those upper echelon role players that can command more money. In my opinion, the Flyers can't afford him.

The holy grail for me is finding someone who can hold their own with Giroux so you could get Schenn-Voracek -- man, I'm telling anybody who will listen that that would be explosive

I wouldn't call Montreal's defense "amazing." I give PK Subban all the credit in the world, but I simply do not believe that Josh Gorges, Andrei Markov, Mike Weaver, Alexei Emelin and Francois Bouillon are better than what we have.
They're not. Those other five guys are not one bit better than what the Flyers have. - AllInForFlyers

I promise I see your point, but the thing about it is Montreal drafted the guy, in the second round.
We shouldn't be afraid to give our guys we drafted the opportunity to become that kind of player, because you just can't pry these guys from other organizations

In other news, Dreger is saying that the Pens coaching search is down to one guy and it's Willie Desjardins. He's done a very good job in the AHL for the Stars. |

Is Ott a legit two-way bottom sixer? Or is he just more of an enforcer grinder? Cause his +/- was messed up last year to the point where I thought it suggested poor defensive play, like with Ovechkin. |

Just so we're on the same page. Do we like Grinders on this team and if we do, who is the closest player we have to a grinder on this team currently under contract? Just for my information. |
