He's had 2 stress fractures and he's likely to put on 20-25 lbs. Can his bones handle the weight he's going to be constantly putting on them? - PhillySportsGuy

sigh
they should look at this as a gift from god and take him at 3 - Crimsoninja
Maybe he can also play D for the flyers. Would have a great reach and he'd make chara look like Marty st Louis. |

If they draft Embiid and sit him a year, no big deal. The Sixers shouldn't make the playoffs anyway. Go back in the lottery. If they can't get Wiggins and are afraid of the medical on Embiid, draft Exum at #3 and move up to ensure you get Saric. - ravishingone
exum and saric would be awesome, imo. i like both guys
but like you said, i wont be able to handle seeing embiid thrive elsewhere if we pass |

Utah is just so barren of talent I could see Hinkie coming up with a way to get 5 without trading 10. Draft Exum 3. Package MCW, Thad Young and a couple of 2nds for #5 and Burke. More than enough IMO. Not even sure it takes that much if you take a few of their(not many) bad contracts. |

I think I might do it. NBA is a superstar league. You need all star level players to win. Point guards don't win championships. Exum looks good, but if Wiggins becomes a top 10 player, it won't matter what you gave up to get him. |

76ers can get from 3 to 1 without all that. |

Steve Ott was born to be a flyer - Just5
pass. he may hve been born to be a flyer but thats only because like hartsy, rinaldo, carcillo he is too easily riled up and takes penalties at the worst possible times. |

There's a lot of options to take on bad contracts to get assets without trading all that. Looks like Golden state is the front runner for Love now. Some think Chicago might be willing to part with 16 and 19 for Boozers contract so they can sign Carmello. No idea how true, but Hinkie wants to keep 10 while getting another pick between 3 and 10. I hope he can pull it off. |

I like Parker. 17 PPG is about the floor for his offensive ability. He has 25+ PPG potential. He's not great defensively, but if he improves his off the ball defense, he'll be fine.
Coaches often shield their leading scorers from guarding the better players on the other team. - PhillySportsGuy
I don't doubt he can score in the NBA. I do believe he will be a scorer in the volume shooter mode a la Anthony to get his points. I'm not sure he will be athletic enough to get around 3s. I don't see him being big enough to be a stretch 4. Also, if Brown wants a similar offense to the Spurs, I don't see much of a comparison between Parker and Leonard on the offensive end. I see good, I just don't see elite. I would rather take my chances with Saric later on and go with Exum if Wiggins is off the board. |

If they don't get offered anything better and they decide that they would be taking (the chance of) embiid anyway at 1 |

It will be a tough pill to swallow to leave this draft without Parker, Wiggins or Embiid.
If they really love Wiggins and think he's a future star, they need to go up and get him. |

Parker was a beast offensively. He's Carmelo Anthony with a feel for the game. When Carmelo gets the ball, he's like a black hole. Parker is a much smarter offensive player. He has good vision and a willingness to pass. |
