Opinion. But if the rumor is true about them wanting a defensemen from vancouver like tanev, then im sure they would like the idea of adding myers to a very good you g nucleus. This way they could take bennet to put on the wing next to barkov or huberdeau.

im confused by what you are saying. are you suggesting that florida trades for myers but somehow manages to keep the first overall, barkov, and huberdeau? i like bjugstad, but im not sure what else they would have to throw in. if this is what you are suggesting.

I dont think myers can land us the #1 overall, barkov or huberdeau. I think say we add in a third round pick with them throwing in a second we could land bjugstad. They got there big 1/2 punch with barkov and huberdeau so bjugstad is always gonna be the odd man out for a top six position.The trade will never happen, but i think its a trade that could work for both teams

Pretty sure Huberdeau plays wing and likely stays there.

Girg was on GR yesterday i think? and he said he loved playing center and Nolan has moved him back. Playing the wing has helped him . He will be playing center going forward .
