Yet another fine blog, sir.
Solid, as you might say
I whole-heartedly agree that Patty deserves another shot here. |

I think he has been given his shot. I don't like him, and don't care if he ever comes back to the NHL. |

I'll 2nd this sentiment. Granted, I'd rather have Kaleta than Scott on any day, but that type of player seems useless in today's NHL. Enforcers need to have some offensive ability. |

I would like to see them take a shot at Winnik. A shutdown line with Winnik and Kaleta could do some damage to the opposing teams. |

His guitar work on Shine on isn't up to snuff IMO.
Not bad otherwise. |

It is but if you're in a Floyd cover band and you want me to pay 47 bucks to see you, you had better be almost dead on. That is a slower song to begin with and they were playing it a quarter step to slow IMO because of his guitar playing.
I'm very critical of people when covering Floyd is all.

Did you miss the part that pointed out he's had a 10 goal season. And that he has 7 points in 12 playoff games?
EDIT: Or were you trying to point out that Scott has no offense? In re-reading what you posted, it's hard to tell who you're referring to at that point. |

Kaleta is a good fourth liner, the league hates him and Shannahan hated the Sabres... Hopefully he won't have a target on his back cause a few of his suspensions have been iffy/players embellishing a little in my opinion. There are plenty of scumbag players that get left alone by the league for far worse shots. |

He does have "some" offensive ability
10goals in 55games
Although that was back in 09-10, he was playing with a bit better talent than Scott & Ellis
Not that I'd expect that again
But a 4th liner that scores 5+, plays the PK well, hits and disrupts the other team...
That sounds like the perfect 4th liner to me
If he quits the dumb penalties, he has a place on this team
This year is pretty much a wash anyways
I don't see how giving him another shot will hurt
I think we should also use this year to give guys like Conacher, Adam & Ruhwedel their shot to either prove they are part of the future here, or we ship them off for whatever we can get
Same with guys like Weber & McBain, and obviously Stafford & Stewart
I think this year even determines whether or not Ennis & Hodgson will be around long term
It makes sense that Murray would use this season to evaluate a number of players

Yeah could be the homer in me talking but him leading with the crown of his head in a corner scrum is not as big of a deal as lucic blatantly spearing a guy in the nuts away from the ice or Shea webber slamming a guys head in the glass. |

Nice blog boos. Looking forward to seeing a new and improved Kaleta. Hope his injury doesn't take away from one of his positives, his speed. |

If Pat Kaleta wasn't a Buffalo native, he also would no longer have a career in the NHL. |
