Who do y'all think has more value: Ekblad or Myers?

From what I am seeing, most fans seem to agree. I would have thought never playing a game in the NHL would have reduced Ekblad's value, but it seems to be helping him. For my money, I would rather have Myers especially if he would take less to acquire.

If Hunter Smith is still there at 48 I would grab him...but there are a couple defensemen who might be nice that could be sitting there too....glad this isn't my decision.

Watched him all year & there are others I'd take in round 2 before him...........not a bad player but not a 2nd rounder in my eyes.

It would be nice to have a concrete idea of what a Shea Weber (the real deal), Tyler Myers (loads of potential) and Ekblad (What might be) would cost in a deal. I know stalk rises and drops all the time but I'd like to hear more of comparisons that have bern made deal wise in the past. should there be a cap in deals?

Jumping 101 spots in central scouting's ranking is impressive, but I wouldn't use a second rounder on him. Especially since he is a year older than most prospects. One interesting over-ager is Lukas Sutter. I would take a chance on him in the lower rounds.

I like what I've watched in Ekblad, maybe more than others but if Florida takes him he'll be part of what could be a solid looking D-core (even though they'd be young)

I think it also has to do with Myers never matching his rookie totals, which a lot of people see aa an irreversible "regression." Much like the people who think Coburn and Hartnell as wortless. So they see Ekblad as a "could be" player since he is an unknown quantity, which means that he's bound to be light years better than Myers.

Tampa Bay will not qualify goalie Anders Lindback, meaning he will be a UFA this summer, per Eric Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune. I'd assume that makes him a potential Flyer target as back up
