He's definitely high risk/high reward. His offensive skill from the blueline seem to be very rare. I know he has defensive areas to work on, but the Flyers haven't had a lot of defensemen prospects who could skate the puck out of the defensive zone, carry it into the offensive zone and make a play.

After the last couple of years, Ville is probably only getting a 1 yr contract for close to the minimum. It would make sense for him to try and go back to the Flyers, where he enjoyed his most success in the NHL.

I'm guessing sarcasm? I'm sure the flat-footed (relatively to him) defenders saw him running past them towards the ball. But I guess in soccer, it's more important to stay classy by faking crippling injuries every 2 minutes than to win "dirty" like that.

So where would Leino fit? I would think the first two things that need to happen are move Vinny and then decide if your signing Schenn and get it done or moving him too? I don't see Leino as a third liner so I would think it would be on a line with Schenn and Simmon since he was more of a playmaker then scorer.

A number of players would need to be demoted coming out of camp in order to carry Pronger on the roster until the opening day of the season. Not sure of the waiver status of players such as Akeson and Alt.
