All good here, too. I haven't been around too much lately either - seems like Groundhog Day when I do.

I've been out for several days, and didn't have time to back read the past few blogs.... I noticed that one blog had the Hawks doing only a few small trades, while the next two had Kesler coming and Sharp (and others perhaps) going. Was this two separate sources, or is the front office going back and forth that quickly on what is needed?

I think JJ's reports on front office thoughts: first, that Van was asking too much for Kesler (Saad) so Hawks were backing off and looking at tweaks for 3rd and 4th lines.

Then JJ reports Sharp is back in play.

So - just the usual confusion.

It seems obvious that other GM's know that Kesler is likely at the top of his game for maybe two more seasons, and is often injured. They are not going to give any better an offer than Bowman does. It might come down to, what players, picks etc al Vancouver likes best.

If Vancouver wants skill and all around value (thinks game well, may be clutch performer, makes others on ice better), this could be what they get in TT. What they cannot be sure about is if he is a point per game scorer (possible) or better (not as likely). This is perhaps lofty expectations but this is what I suspect in time TT would become. Vancouver might look at how TT fits along with their other prospects.

TT would be hard to pass up, but if I were Vanc I would insist also on a first 2015. That pick may not be as late a selection as one might think. Chg. may be good in the playoffs but regular season motivation with many veterans....I just suspect Chg
is mediocre often/they turn the switch on now and then, but is one of the last seeds to make the playoffs.
