The more i think about it the myers for 3rd overall sounds better to me. Bennet and reinhart this year. Then possibly mcdavid/eichel next year and a player like hanafin/strome with the isles pick. I dont think we would be missing myers too much if thart scenario happened , but i dount we trade him

There's many ways to build a team. Wouldn't be horrible too have a lot of dominant goal scorers. My thing is their is only 1 puck. If we got reinhart this year a McDavid/eichle next year and anther top end player with the isles pick. We will have a few good fowards ontop of a group of decent goal scorers. All we really need is for 3 out of ennis, hodgson, grigorenko, armia, compher and stafford to pan out as supporting line mates. Then we could boast a defense of Myers and McCabe. Ristolanen and zadorov. And Pysyk and whoever is left. Erhoff could land us something good in a trade this offseason. Mix in our skilled grit guys like fasching, deslaurier, Girgenson, Foligno and larsson and we could b really tough to play against for a years to come. Just not sure we need 4 superstars ontop of what we already have.

Konopka, Ellis, Stafford, Stewart, Hodgson, Flynn, D'Agostini, Foligno.


They are all 6 feet or taller. Ennis is better than all of them.

Anyone think acquiring ROR makes any sense? I'd say a definite no to an offer sheet and we'd have to pay a steep price in a trade. But unless it's for the right price I'd say no. There's no way I'd give up a 1-way ticket to McDavid Street or Eichel Avenue
