So far there's that idea, Leino, a Go Leafs Go pic, and on top of the avatar change I think dadeadhead suggested a change of location as well.

I sat by my friend's pool drinking a beer before, during, and after the game. I only know the result because my Facebook had a whole bunch of Buffalo Sports-esque statuses about the endings.

I also got a text from a friend saying that the he watched six minutes and saw four victims of the invisible sniper from the rafters.

Finally, I find it laughable that a bunch of American soccer people are pulling the "I told you so" card about ratings, and people showing up to these viewing parties. If this game was played on a Sunday in the fall, nobody's even mentioning it.

Anyone think acquiring ROR makes any sense? I'd say a definite no to an offer sheet and we'd have to pay a steep price in a trade. But unless it's for the right price I'd say no. There's no way I'd give up a 1-way ticket to McDavid Street or Eichel Avenue

If the price is right. As good as he is I wouldn't over pay for him. I fact we are in a position where we can low ball Colorado. 1 we are in the east. 2 we are a terrible team. 3. Colorado has to move him or else the risk him being offer sheeted by a good team. Losing RoR for a 1st round pick of a team that is gonna go far in the playoffs is not the ideal situation for them. We have Erhoff who is a quality dman with a good contract and ontop of that we could offer either St. Louis 1st next year or our 2nd this. This still get that high level 1st and defensive help now. If other teams want to beat that offer than good luck to them.
