I don't know if you're trying to say that it doesn't translate to the NHL or that it does. Giroux has had his struggles the last year and a half or so, but I'd still take him here any day.

Bennett definitely has some of Toews qualities. I don't like the Draisaitl/Kopitar comparison, and the Ekblad/Johnson one is spot on IMO

Yeah I'm leaning more towards Bennett too now. TM says he wants a player that takes risks. Reinhart seems like a "play it safe" kind of player, where Bennett plays a little wild.

There's no possible way you're nitpicking that guy's skill. That guy would be the best Sabre 2x over.

What I'm saying is that Reinhart and Giroux were physically similar during their draft years and the only differences are that Reinhart has a better play making ability while Giroux was likely faster. I'm just making a counter argument to those who don't believe in Reinhart's first line potential.

And yes. Giroux had to develop for a couple of years to become the player he is. But totally effin worth it.

Honestly he's tough for me.

Id say Rick Nash without the speed. He's great at using his body and will score the goals that will wow you, but from what I have read and watched he's not consistently going to the dirty areas to score when it needs to be done.....Like Nash

Id say Rick Nash without the speed. He's great at using his body and will score the goals that will wow you, but from what I have read and watched he's not consistently going to the dirty areas to score when it needs to be done.....Like Nash

Wow, for some reason I thought Campbell's contract was much longer than that. Seeing it's only 2 more years (I thought 4-5), I agree.
