Blues Festival

The St. Louis Blues could be on many teams' watch list for potential free agents targets.

With the team locking up Jay Bouwmeester and Alexander Steen prior to free agency, the team could be posied to flood the market with veteran talent on July 1, according to Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Rutherford reports that the likes of Steve Ott, Brenden Morrow, Derek Roy, and Ryan Miller likely will not be signed prior to Canada Day to give Blues GM Doug Armstrong flexibility at this coming Friday.

"I want to make sure we have the ability to make player acquisitions at the Draft," Armstrong told Rutherford

Kesler and his mid 40 pts can stay in Vancouver we dont need him. Bolland plays same style has won 2 cups more of a leader same grit and will come at million less then him. Hes not worth Reimer straight up let alone throwing in a potential ppg player like Kadri. Who btw has put up more points then kesler and has had same +- as kesler also. Kadri plays with some grit and an edge kinda like douggy and makes no sense to move unless we get a player his age(o Rielly) but for an older player who has been on a decline since 2010 makes ABSOLUTELY no sense. Especially since Bolland has stated he wants to play here

I keep picking Oilers in my hockey pools thinking this is the year they really break out...it's starting to piss me off. And I like the Oilers, I want to them to (frank) up the other western Canadian teams in the playoffs, this rebuild is getting annoying.
