I'd take Kesler if it was five years ago, now he's not a fit for the Leafs, at least not to trade for.

Hell I'd bet any money from this point forward Kadri will be a more valuable player than Kesler anyway

Well I suppose the key upgrade would be Kesler being more likely to actually be in the lineup. Bolland and Lupul on the same team is like having 2/3 of a line you'll never actually see healthy at the same time. And while seasons out from his career highs, has still produced a heck of a lot more than Bolland has ever. Part of the reason I suppose.

Anyone who can play more than half a season is an upgrade on Bolland. If people don't want to go after Kesler that's fine, but let's not act like Bolland should be coming back regardless. Too many question marks and salary demands that are way too high.

I'm not seeing 0-5 at all. Leafs won't get anywhere near the first pick overall. First seven games of the season are looking 6-1 Leafs.
