I'd say Ehrhoff is better than Green and has been for quite some time now.

Real talk though, if they finish with the 1st overall pick and take anyone other than McDavid they will be laughed off the stage.

After all the hype whichever team drafts 1st overall is either taking him or suffering the wrath of years of PR nightmare.

Agree...and I don't think he's that tough

I wouldn't be so sure. I'm not going to buy a McDavid/Eichel sabres jersey anytime soon but the right moves could see this team at the bottom again.

At the very least could end up with one of them. In the end I suspect they end up with a record similar to Calgary's and drafting somewhere between 3-5 and the isles pick around 9-12.

Worst case, Ritchie is Lucic. But what if he could be more like Perry/Benn? This kid could easily become a beast in his prime.

Calgary finished 14 wins better than us and drafted 4th overall.

For us to draft 7th we would need to be roughly 20 wins better, that's quite the un realistic improvement.

I'm almost more interested to see what moves NYI make this offseason than the Sabres
As of now, I think their team blows & we have a good chance to get a top3 pick from them
LOVE IT that Boyle turned them down
I think a lot of other UFAs will as well

I like players that make others around them better and will be able to play the vast majority of an 82 game season and playoffs. A player that plays with reckless abandon like Bennett does, does nothing for his team if he's in the press box do to injury.

Again just my opinion.


PS I don't buy into media BS. I use my eyes and do to insomnia watch a ton of hockey at all levels.

I worked 6:30-11 and the only one worth while was German and we don't speak the same language. Oh and she had another German female with her and she refused to drink so the hot one wouldn't have one either or I'd of used free drinks to narrow the language gap.
