I don't think we have a spot to get back into the top 4 without including the islanders 1st next year, so I want no part of it.
I am all for moving Ehrhoff and 2nds to get back in the 1st, where ever it might get us though - Mentalorgasm5
I don't think we can get low enough to get anyone that matters...looking at draft history is not very encouraging. You need a core then have to hit with OK complementary draft picks...unless your the Kings with some weird Philly "dynamic" between player ousters and management...how does that work! We need to get low enough to get say...Dal Colle. |

I just liked the post for the whole aspect of just because 50 things were reported as being talked about but don't happen does not mean there weren't talks and he's just trying to keep his readers up on what he's heard. - stashu
JJ's probably the best blogger on here and has been for quite a while. People just like to b!tch. |

Yup, or in the teens for Sonny Milano.
He could be an excellent set up man on the PP. Guy can back guys off like Kane. |

Wonder how long it would take him to make a soft play and be called Alyssa? |

Housley as a dman had 1232 pts in 1495 games played compared to Andreychuk's 1338 in 1639. I like Andreychuk, but Housley should be in over him. He was much more exciting to watch too. |

One has a cup, the other doesn't.
That tends to be the main deciding point.
Andreychuck is also the only member of the 600 club to not be in that's eligible. If 500 is the mark to automatically get in(which has always been the the number), then 600 is a no brainer. |

Sounds much more like Bennett than Reinhart. - dadeadhead
Sam Bennett
Height:6-0
Weight:178 lbs.
Talent Analysis:
A highly skilled player, he also displays very good two-way acumen and the competitive fire of a future captain. Will also show a feisty side that's tough to play against.
Sam Reinhart
Height:6-1
Weight:186
Talent Analysis:
All the tools offensively. Great vision and patience. Soft hands and a quick release. Outstanding puck skills. Often dictates the play. Well disciplined. Seldom caught out of position. Not physically dominant. Tremendous discipline.
I don't know...it's a crap shoot! |

Personally, when you compare the numbers, it's splitting hairs. I'd like to see both of them in. I don't really care who gets to go first. |

Being that we have a guy in Girgensons that has many of the same qualities as Bennett, I'd rather bring in the guy that's going to be a bit different. I love that it says Reinhart dictates the play. We don't have a guy that can do that right now. I guess you could say Ennis can, but he doesn't do it often enough. |

I personally think both should be in, if I had a vote, I'd pick Blake, Housley, recchi, and then Andreychuck. All should be in. Maybe I'm too easy, but lindros was the most dominant player in the nhl for a brief period of time, and feel he should be too. |

Just an IMO but I'll take Kopitar(Reinhart) over Richards(Bennett). Kopitar keeps getting better whereas Richards has become a complimentary player. This organization isn't in a position to take a chance Bennett turn into the player they want. Reinhart while his ceiling is 1st line stud, most would agree he'll be a very good 2nd line player. Bennett IMO has the biggest boom or bust factor followed by Draisaitl. |

Agreed. Reinhart is a very difficult player to draw comparables to. IMO he's some sort of Tavares/Kopitar/Toews/O'Reilly/Frankenstein hybrid. |
