I personally think both should be in, if I had a vote, I'd pick Blake, Housley, recchi, and then Andreychuck. All should be in. Maybe I'm too easy, but lindros was the most dominant player in the nhl for a brief period of time, and feel he should be too.

Being that we have a guy in Girgensons that has many of the same qualities as Bennett, I'd rather bring in the guy that's going to be a bit different. I love that it says Reinhart dictates the play. We don't have a guy that can do that right now. I guess you could say Ennis can, but he doesn't do it often enough.

Just an IMO but I'll take Kopitar(Reinhart) over Richards(Bennett). Kopitar keeps getting better whereas Richards has become a complimentary player. This organization isn't in a position to take a chance Bennett turn into the player they want. Reinhart while his ceiling is 1st line stud, most would agree he'll be a very good 2nd line player. Bennett IMO has the biggest boom or bust factor followed by Draisaitl.

Is anyone going to be mad if we get either Sam? What I mean is are the Reinhart supporters going to be pissed if we take Bennett or vice versa? I certainly would be happy with either while preferring Bennett just slightly. I actually like Draisaitl the best of the 3, but his bust factor is highest so I think you have to take the safe pick of one of the Sams.

EDIT: Anyone want to help me come up with a deadline/punishment(maybe Leino instead of Darcy this time?)/punishment duration?

Me too. I guess I just like the dynamic of already having the fiery guy and adding the higher skilled by quiet guy with him. Too many of the same personality and you could cause some tension at some point as well. I just think that maybe Girgs and Reinhart would compliment each other well, since they're styles are quite a bit different.

We should take Bennett. Reinhart would be fine...but think Stafford. Also, Bennett is a local and has blue collar roots..he's from Holland Landing, Ontario...not from out west. Some players (Hmmmm....Myers!?) seem to have a little adjustment period. Don't underestimate being away from family and friends...and he has a top flight mentor in Doug Gilmour. Also, I would get rid of Grigs plus some/all second round picks to Edmonton for the 3rd and get both Sams...Grigs is a headcase and is not one to build around...

Reinhart has the hockey genes . He knows what it takes to win . He carried his team in the playoffs . Bennett got knocked out first round . Buffalo19 has a good analysis . Bennett -Aaron Maybin - High ceiling - high bust factor.
