Probably...any true blue collar kid would have trouble paying for the equipment and ice time...if not, the desire is hard to come by. - Jackwagon11
To me, Bennett is boom or bust. He could be an force, or a 3rd liner. I'll trust Murray, Devine, etc. with who they think is best. |

Wow desire is a wonderful thing . But it is nice to have talent . If we went by desire Pat Kaleta would be an all star.

Seems like it could be a very underrated statistic. I'd be curious to see the other prospects' numbers. 91% does seem pretty insane, though. - LetsGoBuffalo75
Yeah I like the stat. The article is on WGR.com if you want to give it a read. It's called Four-k in the road and Jeremy White breaks down the big four and what makes them attractive picks.
Reinhart's IPP was 84 while Bennett's was 74. In the NHL, Taylor Hall led the way with 85% (likely because if the surrounding support or lack thereof) and Crosby had 83%. So that's some perspective for you on that stat. I don't believe stats are the end all be all but it's very interesting.
Excellent picture btw. |

I really hope we get Sam . Griffin will be a good one as well . Islanders did a great thing letting him have a shot at a Memorial Cup. |

I'll say it so 365 doesn't have to. Especially since the 2005 lockout, the teams that have won the Cup have been a super-majority of Canadians. They're still the guys to build franchises around, and still will be for the considerable future. Countries like the US are catching up, but it will still be another decade at the ver least, probably more, before Canadians are "unseated" in that regard.
The only key position I wouldn't look to Canada for right now is goaltender. |

That does paint a pretty good picture of the line mate support each player got. Strengthens my opinion on Reinhart, but really gets me thinking about Draisaitl as well.
And thanks |
