Homer is Ranger's GM? - Deasr1
Nope, he's every middle of the road defenseman's best friend for giving MacDonald $30mm |

I'd trade schenns and 17 for kulikov and 1 - Winning
Too much. I would do Rinaldo and a 4rth. If they want Vinny they would have to add more. |

Gustavsson's 1yr deal w/DET worth $1.85M. Decent price, eh? Meanwhile in Anaheim...total AAV btwn both Gs for each of next 2 seasons: $1.87M
Seems like a lot for a backup |

That's it in a nutshell. NHL GM's are a bunch of idiots. Too bad they don't know what the fans know. - MJL

Yeah, "you think you're smarter than all the GM's in the NHL??!?"... eerily similar. Anybody seen Mr Vader and Stevo in the same place at once? |

I told you what I think. If you're not happy with that answer, too bad. I don't delve deep into the technical aspects of goaltender play, not my area of expertise. Quick is so explosive with his legs that he can play a number of ways, and get up off the post. Some goalies like to put the skate against the post, some like to place the pad inside the post. Whatever stops the puck is what I say. - MJL
it's not a matter of being unhappy with your answer. it's a matter of it being completely worthless in the context of my question, which was posed as a result of your direct statement of being willing to discuss any specific topic about hockey.
i was looking for more of a thoughtful, in-depth reply. since "the technical aspects of goaltender play" are "not your area of expertise", your initial reply could have stated exactly that. it wouldn't have been that difficult.
further, your response of "if you don't like it, too bad" was completely unwarranted, but it warrants a far more personal and harsh reply on my part, but it will get me banned. and i'm not getting banned right before the draft because of you.
it's really not right that you can provoke, talk to people the way you do incessantly, and claim it's not a personal attack, yet anyone who gave you a proper response in kind would get banned. how you haven't been permanently banned from this site yet is beyond me.
and if i get banned for this, i don't (frank)ing care.

MacDonald by far in my opinion. But a lot depends on if Nikitin can re-find his offensive game

I agree. I think when this free agency period is said and done, both Streit's and MacDonald's contract will look better. Depending on how you view them now, they will either be 1)really good or 2) pretty tolerable. |
