Crims is so mad you came up with this idea and he didn't.

it'll get too complicated to try to predict all these trades.

the way i have it set up is perfect

If Hexy really wants a short term bridge, I have to figure they inquire about Willie Mitchell.
- ravishingone

I think he would be more expensive then Grossmann. I think Mitchell is better, but it would require moving Grossmann and using up more cap space. And if not, if he's looking for more then one year, it's a 35+ deal.

But you don't need to predict 8000 trades. Just the ones you really think will happen. I'm sure PSG has a specific reason or 2 as to why he thinks the 26ers move up to 7 and they probably concern team needs/matches/who's on the board.

Cmahhhhhhhhhhhn give extra points for trades

giig, the trades can be factored in when you submit.

again, its not about what teams these guys end up on, it jsut matters when they are selected. so, in theory, you can factor in as many trades as you want when you compile the list.

sorry, im not going to go through who predicted what when trades could involve multiple picks, second rounds, salary dumps, future picks, etc

Ugh...He's kind of a lateral move from Grossmann. I mean if you're gonna do something, add mobility.

Unfortunately Fayne is drawing more and more interest, saw some speculation he could end up getting a Grossmann sized deal

On McKeown,

"Liked his potential entering the season. I saw him early in the season and he struggled and I saw him a ton late, including in Finland at the U18, I didnt see him play a smart game all season. I saw a lack of hockey sense. One example is still fresh in my mind, watch the last few seconds of the Slovakia game in Finland. He almost allowed the Slovaks to tie the game with a mental blunder."

Also some more food for thought,

ISS Hockey @ISShockey
http://ISStop30.com #15 Roland McKeown @McKeown20 Elite intelligence on both sides of puck... Impressive anticipation & very good skater.

Kingston Frontenacs GM (OHL) Doug Gilmour:
“Roland is a player with speed – good offence, and plays smart on both the powerplay and penalty-kill.”

McKeown is a strong, do-it-all defensemen whose biggest asset is his ability to think the game and know his position. He makes strong, simple plays, has a good shot and distributes the puck effectively. - Elite Prospects

What are you? Scared?

Just award points for the pick parts of trades. So, a prediction should be "The 26ers trade up to #7 to select Embiiiiiiiiiiiid" as opposed to trade specs of players, etc

I think Mitchell is a better player then Grossmann is, and is more mobile for a guy his size. I'd prefer to keep Grossmann over adding Fayne.

I think Mitchell can make a better first pass out of the defensive zone then Grossmann. Not really surprised Fayne is drawing that type of interest. It looks like they would be better off finding this year's Tom Gilbert.

I would agree, although Mitchell and all of the Kings defenseman are really helped in that situation with how good LA is with the breakout game as a team.

Maybe Simon gets a camp invite from some team, but the chances of him playing in the NHL this year I believe are remote.

I hope he does. When I look at our left wing, I could even see a fit there.

I believe Mitchell has a much more accurate shot from the point out of the two. The other aspect of signing Mitchell is getting another guy in the locker room who has Stanley Cup rings to his resume to establish a culture change of buying into the Berube system even more.

he got caught in no man's land, surprised by the shot. he should never have used that, from that angle and spot with kane attacking the net in a forward direction. all he needed to do was stay on his feet in that situation, or at worst, butterfly.
- hammarby31

Yeah, looked like he got caught thinking about what to do and just panicked.

Nitkin's cap hit was certainly higher then expected. However, with him only signing two years, if he plays well (he should get plenty of minutes in Edmonton), he'll still be only around 29 and could cash on another multi-year over $5 million.

Edmonton's going to have to overpay for free agents to play there. They're protected with the term, so it was a good move on their part.

Niskanen is going to get close to $6 million/yr, IMO.
