Buddy of mine worked in the NHL for about 10 years and got to know Murray fairly well, he said he is not the most articulate guy in the world, can be a bit of an bumhole, but an excellent hockey man and works tirelessly evaluating players.

Gutsy call from Flyers, could be a good one though.

I'm happy with the reinhart pick but there is no excuse that Murray can't trade back into the 1st.

Agreed... We had three 2nd round picks... A team with a lot of salary we could take on one of their players as well to sweeten the deal especially with the cap not being as much as gm's thought.. I'll be a bit disappointed if we don't trade back in but at this point I'm not willing to give up top of the roster talent for a pick.. But you have to remember what pick Kesler went for..
