Plenty of people thought Tyler Biggs was a steal in 2011.

McKeown, Dougherty, Barbashev, Demko, Lemieux all available, I would hope that we can get 2 of them.

Agreed, I'd say he's the best skater available and I'd say he's an upgrade over a few of the D-men we have in our system.

Considering how thin we are at forward, Id take Lemieux first thing tomorrow.

Then maybe package both 2nds for Demko.

Really? Murray has a history of drafting goalies early on though, interesting to hear that he doesn't want to take one with one of the three 2nds.

We have 31 and 39 tomorrow no need to move up from 39. It's not about giving up assets to move 3 or 4 spots up. This team is rebuilding draft quality and quantity there is nobody there worth giving up 2 2nds for IMO

I too heard Murray praise Buffalo's goalie depth, but at the time it seemed almost so laughable that such a notion HAS to be a smoke screen!!

How could Murray possibly think he is more solid in goal, than on defense? Especially considering there's not a single proven commodity in the entire lot!??

Because you only play 1 goalie in a game you dress 6 D. So you need more D depth than goalie depth. There are 4 or 5 goalies in the Sabres system that could push for a starting job for the next 4 or 5 years there are only 6 or so D prospects that can push for a roster spot

I'm no expert on this kid, but Demko may be too good to pass up.

We are in a very good position. 5-6 guys who were supposed to go first round are sitting there for us. Really would like roland mckeown with our next pick
