Keeping it simple:
What's the general consensus...
Do the Pens make splash tomorrow? - YouMeAndDupuis9
No. Just upgrade 3rd and 4th lines. I would keep Goc and Stempniak. |

Did you watch the rags or the kings? 3rd and 4th lines played a key role till the end ... What don't we get? Why do you guys want to keep recreating the same team that lost??? Kulemin? Hemsky????? Really ? - Brianandr1
Actually I was more impressed by both teams defensemen. Anytime there was a scramble around the net both teams Dmen were clearing the crease area. Yes the 3rd and 4th line guys drove the net way better than the Penguins, and in truth the only Pens I can recall consistently going to the dirty areas were Crosby, Kunitz, Jokinen and Sutter.
So in summery, yes we need to look for aggressive 3rd and 4th line players but we need to address the passive defensive zone play first. I feel this will get corrected with the new regime, I doubt it can get worse. |

Sounds like GMJR has already made his decision on Fleury. Said he is comfortable with him playing on the last year of his contract and was really good last year. |

If he's trading fleury I'd assume it'd be tonight. If he signs another starter it would diminish fleurys value teams would know we need to dump him |

I like him, but he misses a lot of games too. -25 last year. Right kind of player, maybe not the right player.

1. Also...sources believe that a few deals have already been made tonight but the NHL wants them announced at the draft...so there's that..
2. I believe Neil could very well be one of those deals...
3. Yes... Sorry autocorrect got me... James Neal |

Saw one rumor (it's twitter, take it with a grain of salt) of C. Wilson, Forsberg, and the 11th pick for Neal. Thoughts?? |

2 centers, neither which are top 6, and a pick? I don't think that "blows JR away".

Forsberg is a LW, and he has big top 6 potential. |
