But does the quality of shots allowed by the defense affect that as well? - jmatchett383
All shots on the PP tend to be pretty HQ, right? |

Is there a chance of players being traded after being picked and/or traded? - jmatchett383
More so, in fact |

I don't want them to do anything like that -- why does anyone feel like risking a young player whose only real crime is being inconsistent, the team's best defenseman on an amazing contract, a defense prospect who we were lucky to get in the second round a year ago and a first-round pick for Winnipeg's problems or just one asset in return is the best play here?
Opening holes all over the roster...I just don't feel that is the way to win. - AllInForFlyers

Am I the only one who actually wants Ho-Sang? 17 may be early but if he's there in the 2nd round and we pass I'm not going to be too happy. - JFlyers00
I'd be scared to take him, but I'm totally pulling for him no matter where he ends up. Fewer robots in the NHL is always a good thing. |

I was the one who proposed that package, and it was for Trouba.
I'd rather overpay to rip Trouba out than either. - jmatchett383
I'd try to do something like B Schenn, Coburn our first, next year's 2nd, and Hagg. And I'd do it. - jmatchett383

Just because he kills penalties on a terrible team doesn't mean he is a good PK guy.
They are a team with 2 experienced D men, one of whom stopped be jovocop years ago and then they have a guy in kulikov that will be good and get better going forward. everyone else is wet behind the ears, so Campbell MUST play in all situations for them. - nails
Campbell could easily handle the second pairing PK duties MacDonald had in Philly.
He would be an upgrade over both Streit and Kimmo on the first PP unit. Or maybe they could change it up with Hartnell gone and have Streit on the right point taking one timers.
And how about the fact he put up a CF% of 52.6 while mainly playing with Tom Gilbert, and with no good forwards in front of him to generate shots? Him and Coburn would be an excellent first pairing. |

I think I'd cream my pants if we really got Campbell for Vinny + Amac

so why would Florida, not at the cap floor, want to move salary out?
and why would they want coburn instead of AMac? |

I think people were saying move Vinny as well, which actually gets you cap savings and less years. - jmatchett383
I get that. I guess I am just not as high on campbells defensive game as some. to each their own |

There was a rumor Campbell wanted out. Florida have trouble attracting free agents so six years of AMac might appeal to them. I wouldn't move Coburn. |

I don't think he's stellar defesively, but I don't think AMac is either. And it it gets us out of Vinny's cap hit earlier, I'd do it. |
