They said the NHLPA said they were unanimously opposed and one unidentified (but clearly goaltender) rep said, "I don't recall being asked to vote."

They should remove it though. The Player clearly stops to make the spin.

do they require multiple years of "seasoning" in juniors or the ahl?

Nah man, don't be crazy. You put them right in. No time like the present.

I really like how you're very patient with the Sixers, but you want Morin up now.

Like the 76ers could buy out his contract. How much could it be? Like 200 bucks or something.

Buzzgate Draft Edition. We can plan the timing for getting these kids in the lineup.

Thats the thought. They can tear up the deal at any time if the Sixers just pay them off. Saric was the MVP of the Adriatic last season, so he's a pretty hot commodity overseas.

He is used on the PK, but he does not lead the team is ice time per game on the PK. And saying he's better defensively then MacDonald is a matter of opinion. I disagree. So couldn't I also claim that the problem is that you have no idea about campbell's game?
- MJL

Campbell played first pairing on a terrible team and had very good Corsi.

MacDonald played first pairing on a terrible team and had very bad Corsi.

You disagree only because MacDonald is already signed and you want to defend every signing the Flyers make to the death. That's your thing.

I think that had more to do with the other talent. It would be difficult to see the Panthers passing on Ekblad for another center.
- PhillySportsGuy

You're probably right, but I think Bennett would be an upgrade over Bjugstad and Barkov.

I want Kasperi. I know, he won't fall. But still, another Kapanen can't be a bad thing!
- bodiva88

He actually may drop. No team ever shares its own rankings but they do talk to each other a bit. Have heard some teams like quite a few players over him. Just takes one player higher on a team's list at their spot to get them to take someone else.

I'll openly admit that, more that what I see on the surface, I don't know much about the Sixers. But MCW seems like a good guy on a bad team who got the ball a lot because everyone else sucked, and therefore put up high numbers in a weak rookie crop. I've talked to people who follow the NBA who see him as a good supporting player.

Also, if this #3 pick is by far the best player in the draft, why was he picked 3rd instead of second?

In reality, if the Sixers do turn things around, then I'll cheer for them, because I'm a total front-runner for basketball. But I just don't think, from the little bit that I do know, they have the pieces to be anything more than a fringe team unless they go outside and acquire a name piece.

Very excited about the Draft but I also feel Hockeybuzz.com is making way too much of the draft, as if it's the trade deadline or the opening of Free Agency.

As for the rumours of a Vinny trade. I made my peace with him going even though I felt like we had a reasonably good team. Obviously the team needed some tweaks but in my opinion, they were only minor tweaks that needed to be made. To me Hartnell isn't a minor tweak. We took from the offense to be MAYBE a little faster and MAYBE better defensively. At the same time, rumours of LeCavalier for Upshall makes me even more puzzled and a little angry.

The thought of Evander Kane in my mind is a much better mindset. He's young, he could be a nice long term fit next to Giroux. He fills a hole as a well as a need. I'm not so sure I'd be willing to trade Brayden Schenn for Kane though. Sean Coutuier is a very good player but we have yet to see him take the next step offensively and we want him to stay at center, where as Schenn is a moving part. It's been made a question for Schenn, center or wing? I don't think it matters that much at this point. He's a nice moving part to have.

Last season Nerlens Noel was the run away #1 pick... blew out his ACL and he dropped.. This year, same story.. Embiid was the number 1 pick for about three month (even with his stress fx in his back)... then he has the foot issue and it scared the top two just enough for him to fall.. Many still had him going 1.

Maybe, but Ekblad will likely be a huge upgrade over Gudbranson and Kulikov in a couple of years.

That's is just non-sense, Kasperi shouldn't fall to #17 but if he does it's hopefully the Flyers gain

Corsi is a team stat, not an individual stat. As for the rest, you can claim anything you want. But that is innacurate. I made my case for why I think it's a bad deal, and why I wouldn't make. And lastly, if you have to duscuss the poster more then the actual opinion, you don't have a very strong position.

From what I've heard though, it's a very serious injury, to the point where he may not be healthy enough to play for a full year.
