Did they do all rounds in 1 day last year? - j19b0yle23
Yes, and the first round takes the longest so that should pare a couple hours off of it on Saturday. |

I can't use it so Jsaq is all in. I have the two teens and my nephew with me. I will see you guys down there though at some point. We're getting there around 6 I'd think. - mayorofangrytown

Hawks offer multi-player deal to Florida?
Rumored offer: Sharp, Roszival, D prospect Adam Clendening and Chicago #1 to Florida for their number 1 and Erik Gudbranson
Source: John Jaeckel
If the Blackhawks pull that off it would be amazing. - J35Bacher
Unless Clendening has amazing upside, I don't see how the Panthers make that deal. Sharp is in his mid 30s |

That what sites like this do...they hype things up so people come and discuss potential trades...Nobody will come if they come up here and say nothing going to happen and its going to be pretty boring...As far as Kane vs B Schenn...If it was straight up I would do it in a heartbeat....I feel Kane is the better player and I feel he is a better fit for our team and line up - nonpoint22
People come here all year around, even long after the trade deadline.
Kane has a lot of inconsistencies to his game. Kane has played 5 full seasons to Schenn's 3. Schenn production has only gone up really and has yet to show he'll slip. Plus he can play all three positions up front. I think it's debatable as to who's better. Right now it's unfair to say Kane is better. Schenn needs to step into a much bigger role. |

that is what I was thinking. Damn they could get Gudbranson and then draft Bennett to be that 2nd line center. |

Corsi is a team stat, not an individual stat. As for the rest, you can claim anything you want. But that is innacurate. I made my case for why I think it's a bad deal, and why I wouldn't make. And lastly, if you have to duscuss the poster more then the actual opinion, you don't have a very strong position. - MJL
My position is extremely strong. You are clueless about Campbell. He is a much stronger first pairing defender than MacDonald.
Brian Campbell: 82 games, 37 points, -6, 1611:12 ES TOI, CF 52.6%
http://stats.hockeyanalys...ue&season=2013-14&sit=5v5
-Most common teammates:
Gilbert - CF 52.8% with Campbell, 47.2% without Campbell
Boyes - CF 52.4% with, 50.3% without
Fleischmann - CF 53.3% with, 49.8% without
Bjugstad - CF 52.2% with, 50% without
Andrew MacDonald: 82 games, 28 points, -22, 1477:35 TOI, CF 44.4%
http://stats.hockeyanalys...ue&season=2013-14&sit=5v5
-Most common teammates:
Harmonic - CF 45.5% with MacDonald, 52.7% without MacDonald
Okposo - CF 44.9% with, 52.5% without
Tavares - CF 43.8% with, 53.1% without
Bailey - 42.8% with, 56.4% without
One of these defensemen is cut out to play a ton of minutes on the top pairing. It is not MacDonald. |

Not only that but that's a salary dump for Chicago.
However, if they make that deal the Panthers could be a playoff team next year. |

Conditionally, yes.
1) I would not be willing to take more than a tiny amount of VL's salary on my cap if I am also sending a second-round 2015 pick as an incentive, and
2) I would like to feel reasonably confident that I could replace that asset by getting another team's 2015 second-round pick in a separate trade at some point by next year's draft.
If I could do those things, then yes despite the bad optics of it. - bmeltzer
Thank you Bill, If I'm losing a pick and taking another bad player contract (for close to the same hit just less time and less of a player), why am I also keeping salary? I don't think it unreasonable, nor do I think Lecavilier is some kind of useless contract to Florida. |

If this is true, Shap being the main focus of the package should do it. Especially if the Panthers are really opening to moving that pick. |

Probably (and this is only speculation) to get the deal done before the draft. Lecavalier is due a bonus payment on July 1 -- so it might be salary equivalent to cover that bonus payment in order to get the deal done prior to then. |

for a laugh this is what he wrote.
alright, i have to be a little vague here, but simply put, i have a family member who is part of the flyers organization. i cant exactly say everything i've been told, for obvious reasons (i'd lose my source lol).
but here's what i can say for certain:
1. flyers looking to move up, way up tonight.
2. deal already in place to do so, depending on who gets taken ahead of "this" pick
3. roster player(s) will most likely be moved, a fan favorite.....
4. theres more to the "plan" than this season(3-4 year plan)
5. i've been told to buckle up, because if things fall right, this will be a WILD day/weekend. - EastBeast18
buckle up indeed!

Hopefully, there is a no golfing clause in his new contract.
We should start a movement to get Giroux involved in competitive Bocce Ball -- a game where nothing can ever go wrong. |
